Seba HSLC Result 2023: Assam 10th Result released @ sebaonline.org; 72.69% pass
The recently declared results have yielded a pass percentage of 72.69, reflecting a remarkable increase of approximately 14% compared to the previous year. Despite disruptions in regular classroom learning and the transition to online education, the students of Assam have exhibited resilience and determination, resulting in this significant improvement.
Gender-wise performance in the Assam class 10 results also demonstrated encouraging trends. While the pass percentage for boys stood at an impressive 74.71, the girls’ pass percentage was recorded at 70.96,
Last year, the pass percentage had dropped to a disheartening 56.49, which was one of the lowest in recent years. However, this year’s results have successfully surpassed the pre-Covid times of 2019 when the pass percentage was 60.23.
Hridam Thakuria of Sankardev Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli, in Sonitpur district, has emerged as the state topper, securing an outstanding score of 596 out of 600 marks. Hridam’s exceptional achievement showcases the hard work and dedication put forth by students in pursuit of academic excellence. Furthermore, the results highlight the overall performance of the candidates, with a total of 94,913 passing with first division, 1.48 lakh with second division, and 58,394 with third division. Out of the 4.15 lakh candidates who appeared in the examination, 3.01 lakh students successfully cleared the hurdle, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.

Ranoj Pegu, the Cabinet Minister for Education and Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes, Government of Assam, took to Twitter to announce the impending declaration of results. In a tweet, he stated, “SEBA will declare the results of HSLC Exam 2023 today at 10:00 through https://sebaonline.org.”
The Assam HSLC 10th Exams, conducted by SEBA, were held from March 3 to 20, 2023. However, due to unfortunate incidents of paper leaks, the examination schedule had to be rescheduled, and the exams were extended until April 1. Students have shown immense resilience and determination throughout this challenging period.
Once the results are declared, students will receive their original mark sheets and certificates through their respective schools in Assam. This process typically takes a few days following the result announcement.
As the clock ticks closer to 10 am, students, parents, and teachers anxiously await the official release of the results. It is a time of mixed emotions, with hopes for excellent scores and a bright future. The Board’s efforts to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process are commendable.

To check the SEBA HSLC results online, follow these six steps:
Visit the SEBA official website: Go to the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) at https://sebaonline.org.
Find the Results Section: Look for the “Results” or “Result 2023” section on the SEBA homepage. Click on it to proceed.
Select the HSLC Examination: Within the Results section, locate the HSLC Examination or High School Leaving Certificate result link. Click on it to access the result checking page.
Enter Roll Number and Other Required Details: On the result checking page, enter your HSLC examination roll number and any other required details, such as your date of birth or captcha code. Make sure to enter the information accurately.
Submit the Information: After entering the necessary details, click on the “Submit” or “Get Result” button to proceed with the result retrieval process.
