CHENNAI: Income tax officials on Friday launched searches in properties linked to Tamil Nadu electricity, prohibition and excise minister V Senthil Balaji.
The searches are being carried out in more than 40 places in Chennai, Coimbatore and Senthil Balaji’s hometown Karur, according to sources.
Searches are being conducted in six places in Chennai, including the minister’s official residence at Bishop Garden in R A Puram.
